My Question or Issue
There might be an issue adding an eleven year old child to Premium Family. After invitation, he cannot register as he is deemed to young. The iOS "Kids" app is for six to eight year olds (see attached image). The Spotify Kids Windows app does not exist (yet). The Web player requires registration. What could I do now?

Hi again @Marcuse7,
Thanks for keeping in touch.
You're right - the minimum age required to create a Spotify account in Germany is 16. Sorry for the confusion.
Let us know if you could create the Kids account for your 11-year-old.
We'll be right here in case you have any questions.
Hi there @Marcuse7,
Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!
The Spotify Kids app offers 2 age groups Younger (0-6) and Older (6-12), so you should be able to choose the second one for your 11-year old.
Family managers can add new or edit existing Kids accounts by: Clicking on the Kids app profile icon > Parental Settings > Enter PIN > Add Account. From here, you can set up a new Kids account and select content for either younger or older kids.
However this will still limit the usability of the app as you've mentioned in the original post.
Technically you could create a normal family member account with your data and give it to your older child to use, until they reach the age of 13, which is the legal requirement to have a free account on Spotify in Germany. (As Family member accounts are in essence free accounts, as the members don't sign a contract)
This way your child will be able to benefit from using the account on multiple platforms. If you want, you can block any explicit and inappropriate content for their specific account. Read how to do this here.
Hope you find this info useful. Don't hesitate to reach out again if you have questions.

I could create an account for my 11-year-old, thank you!
You can close this ticket!
If I may suggest a feature, an additional age group (13 thru 15 years) would be great.
