My Question or Issue

I know a lot of fixes have happened in the last 10 months for the desktop application, however it is still not working for me.  It at least starts now and populates the songs and playlists.

So Spotify will cycle through the current playlist and spend a fraction of a second on each song, and then skip to the next song.  There is not any audio, and goes through probably 5 songs in a second.  This only occurs when I go into the Windows 10 sound mixer, and select my external speakers.  Those are on an external USB device, 'Komplete Audio 6'.  When I select my headphones as output (Realtek driver), and restart the app, it works fine.  I have done all the standard recommended steps I've seen in other posts; uninstall in safe mode, install latest version,  etc....  The fact that it works with one output device vs another shows to me it is a Spotify issue.  I have not issues with any other application playing through my external speakers.

Hey @rfortman,

Thanks for reaching out to us 🙂

Can you try connecting your speakers to the PC via Bluetooth or Connect? Are there any changes?

It's also a good idea to try with another account. That way we can check if it's an account-related issue.

If you have already tried these steps or you've tried some additional troubleshooting steps, let us know. That way we'll able to avoid any repeating steps.

You can also send us a screenshot of what you're seeing. We'll investigate this further.
