After unplugging headset jack audio dissapears.

My Question or Issue

When I play a song with my headset on I can hear music with no issue, but once I remove the jack from my PC with windows 10 the audio dissapears, but the track keeps playing, there is no sound. When I re-plug the jack audio does not come back. 

I have tried everything. Changing settings, re-installing Spotify app searching for answers, but I can find nothing.

Would you mind letting us know if the same thing happens when you use a different device? 

We understand you've already tried reinstalling. However, we'd like to suggest a clean reinstall as it's more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful to get rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

Well I'm having the issue on my PC, it does not appear on my phone. I'm only trying to find a solution why it happens on my PC, maybe it's not Spotify. 

Will a clean install let me keep my playlists?

Not to worry, your playlists will stay on your account after the clean reinstall. 

If this doesn't do the trick, could you ask a friend or a family member to log into their personal account using your computer to see if they can replicate this?
