My Question or Issue

 I had some issues with the client, (Beast in Blacks songs weren't playinh) so I reinstalled it. After I logged in, all my playlists and albums were empty.
Some of them are more than 35 hour playlists, with more than 200 songs in it, recreating them would be impossible. I tried to log in and out, reinstall again and checked on the community site, with every possible solution you said.

The same thing has happened to me, did you find a fix?

The solution there within hosts theres a link that blocks spotify and I deleted it, hope that helped.

I had this problem and I found the solution here. It worked 100% for me.

* Open your Notepad as an administrator

* Browse to: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

* Select to open "All Files" and then open file "hosts"

* You should delete all lines containing "spotify" or "fastly"

* Save the file

* Close Spotify Desktop and try to open it again
