Artwork and artist/track name freezing after an ad plays

My Question or Issue

 Playback freezes after ad. I cannot skip to the next song or start another playlist. I have restarted machine and reinstalled the app with no improvement.

Hey there,

I think the reason you're playback freezes after an ad could be the fact that you're using free spotify. Free Spotify doesn't enable you to download songs which means everytime you listen to something, including advertisements, if you're connection whether it be mobile data or an internet connection at home or starbucks etc. is slow, then the songs won't load quick either. As far as I know, with free Spotify you're not able to skip through songs unfortunately.
