Autoplay stopped working / Deinstallation for reinstall not working

My Question or Issue

The autoplay function (similiar songs after the playlist) stopped working. There are no songs shown anymore.

However I figured out, if I delete the file "abba.json" in

C:\users\<username\AppData\Local\Spotify\Users\<number-user>\

the autoplay is working again!

If I then close spotify and start again (also after pc restart) the autoplay stops again and no similiar songs are shown after the playlist.

Of course I tried already switch off and on the autoplay, restart pc.

I also wanted to re-install spotify, but the weird thing is, I cannot do this. After clicking the desinstallation the deinstallation process does not start.

That's a peculiar issue!

It's possible to uninstall Spotify manually as well by doing this:

1. Close Spotify.
2. Go to %AppData% in Windows Explorer and delete any Spotify folders you find in Local and Roaming folders.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Install Spotify.
