Blue dots won't go away

I read a lot of podcasts and no matter what I do, blue dots next to them won't leave. It is hard to keep track of where I am

Same here (although I am listening to the podcasts :D). And I cannot find any statement what the dot is actually supposed to mean for podcasts.

I start a podcast (blue dot), I listen to the podcast (blue dot), I finish the podcast (blue dot), if i skip to some specific point in the podcast it becomes half a blue dot.

To me the Dot is simply pointless.

I'm sorry, but asking for a screenshot is just asking us to waste of our time.

The problem is unmistakably clear from the descriptions given.

The blue dots that appear to the right of the podcaston the home screen are not going away.

• Please stop asking us to waste more time than we already have looking up the issue.

fyi, blue dot was removed a while ago. In the current version (8.9.26.592, on android) there is no blue dot.
