[Bug] Spotify Windows 10 store app unpins itself from taskbar

Hi, I've noticed that every time I turn on my computer or sometimes when I wake up the computer, the Spotify icon disappears from the taskbar even though I had it pinned.

Steps to reproduce:

- Install Spotify from Windows 10 store

- Open Spotify

- Right-click on the icon on the taskbar and choose "Pin to taskbar"
- Restart the computer

-- The icon disappears.

Works correctly with Win32 app.

This happens to me all the time, either upon restarting the computer or after a Windows 10 upgrade.

I've got the same issue.

Reinstalling the "regular" version now.

Me, too, but not always, only sometimes and not reproducable why.

I have a simmilar problem. I start spotify, right click and pin it to my taskbar, but as soon as I close the app, it disapears from the taskbar.

I get this too, including when the app updates itself.

Very, very......very frustrating!

This is happening as well, and after poking around here I can't see one response from Spotify folks, just a lot of topics closed and marked as resolved. This is getting a bit frustrating--or is there some other non-Spotify board that has better info?

I have the opposite problem. Every time I log on to my windows 10 laptop, I have Spotify displayed on my taskbar. I have never pinned it there!  It just magically appears every time. Can't seem to get rid of it!

We should trade computers then 🙂

Haven't had this happen for some time, has anyone else?

Have Spotify changed something maybe?

It keeps happening to me, actually came here 'cause it just happened
