Can I delete local files from my computer once I’ve added them to my library?

I don’t want to take the chance of losing them. If I remove the files from my computer, will they remain in my liked songs on Spotify?  The folder I use for local files is so full now. I need to free up space on my computer.

Thanks for reaching out about this.

Currently your local files will only be available for streaming on your devices if they remain on your hard drive. The tracks will keep their place in any playlist you've added them to, but you won't be able to play them if they're deleted from the PC. 

What you can do is transfer the songs to a larger hard drive and reupload them if you have the possibility.
