Can I like a song without saving it?

My Question or Issue

Before the update a couple of months ago, I liked songs that would show up on my Daily Mixes and Discover Weekly so that the algorithms would know the kind of music I like, but I didn't save any songs because I only save full albums I like.

With the new "heart" system, any liked songs automatically get saved, which I don't like.  Is there any way to get around this?

Unfortunately, there isn't really any way to get around this. You can still customize the daily mix by disliking songs and artists though.
