My Question or Issue

As of recently, when I listen to music on my Android phone and open up the desktop app on either my laptop or PC Spotify connect works fine and I can skip, play, pause and view the music currently playing via my phone but after what I assume is a recent Spotify desktop update I cannot add music to the queue from there like I had previously. Clicking 'Add to Queue' on the desktop app follows through and the drop-down menu disappears after its been pressed suggesting that it was successfully added to the queue. However, when I then go to the queue, the song has not been added. I've seen a couple threads about problems similar to this when using the desktop app to queue music from a PC onto a Chromecast etc... recently and believe it looks to be an issue with the new update & using Spotify Connect as queueing music on the PC app works fine when listening natively on the PC app and similarly, queueing music on the phone works fine when listening on the phone.

Anyone else experienced this?

I'm experiencing the exact same issue.  I can add to queue and change the order of songs in my phone, but if I try any of that on the desktop app I can't do it.  Desktop app will skip and choose songs fine, it just won't do anything with the queue.

It worked fine a couple of weeks ago...

I uninstalled the version I downloaded and installed the Windows store version.  All sorted now.  I recommend you  try the same.
