Can't hear music but can on browser - Windows 10

Very weird.  Just dowloaded the Windows 10 client and signed in with Premium account.  When I click a song, it says "Can't play song" and the computer is silent.  I can play YouTube videos and can play spotify in the Chrome Browser.  But the desktop client doesnt produce sound.  Any ideas?   (BTW, I had this problem yesterday and downloaded and re-installed the software).

Sounds bad!

Once Spotify is installed, Windows should ask about making some Firewall exceptions (Spotify uses some extra ports which are otherwise disabled). Just in case, I recommend peeking into your Firewall rules to make sure Spotify is allowed access (inbound rules).

Antivirus apps may sometimes drop connections. Make sure Spotify is an added exception there as well.
