Can't login to deaktop app via email and facebook

Hi everyone

So I recently got Spotify Premium (The $1 for 3 months deal) and whenever I try and log into the desktop app through email and facebook, it does nothing. No notifications or popups, it just either does nothing or just freezes. The android app and web player works fine but the desktop doesn't. I've reinstalled spotify countless times, changed my passwords and yet nothing happens.

If anyone can help, that would be appreciated.
