Can't play any of the songs in the popular section of an artists page or click "show 5 more"

This is on windows with a premium account. I had this issue before and it lasted months before disappearing.

On an artists page where it shows the most popular songs from that artist I can't play them. Clicking them does nothing. Clicking the "show 5 more" button doesn't do anything either. This is on all artist pages and it's super annoying.

I've tried reinstalling, and logging out and back in. Doesn't work. What can I do?

Strange issue!

I'd suggest reinstalling Spotify cleanly to see if this cures the issue. Try this:

1. Close Spotify and uninstall it.
2. Go to %AppData% in Windows Explorer, and delete any Spotify folders you find in Local and Roaming folders.
3. Restart your computer.

4. Install Spotify.

Note: Windows Store Spotify doesn't seem to use appdata. In this case I recommend resetting the app's data (read this Windows Club article) and reinstalling as guided in this article.
