My Question or Issue

 I made two playlists on Spotify Desktop App using the local files in my laptop (lenovo) but when I opened the playlist on my phone, the track is unplayable. How come ? Any solutions on how I can make it happen?

Hey @shanthigni, help's here.

 

Did you try to synchronize the songs to your phone? You'll find the steps on how to do so here, under 'Mobile and Tablet'.

 

If that doesn't work, make sure that:

  • All devices are on the same WiFi network.
  • Your Spotify apps are up-to-date. It might be better to reinstall here.
  • All devices’ software is up-to-date. If you don't know, check with your devices' manufacturers for how to update the version software.
  • If possible, try switching between different networks and see if that helps.

If it still doesn't work, try using mobile hotspot to connect the devices to the same network. If there's too many local files in a folder, try with just a few, create a test playlist and add songs to it.
