Can't play songs in artist page unless add it to liked tracks or playist

Can't play songs in artist page unless add it to liked tracks or playist

When I click play on songs in artist page, song cover and name on the bottom left corner went blank. It's been 2 months. This problem started when I moved to a new place, so it might be an Internet issue.

Have you tried running a clean reinstall as described in this guide? If not, please do and let us know how it goes. If yes, you can try connecting your PC to a hotspot on your phone, to see if the issue persists.

Thanks for replying! Have tried clean reinstall before and it didn't work. But when connecting to my phone hotspot, the app work just fine. So I guess there's something wrong with my Internet.

In this case, you can try restarting your router and reaching out to your internet service provider so they can check if there are any limitations in place that might cause this behavior.

Unfortunately I live in school dorm, and it's not possible for me to restart the router. Is it possible that a app update in the future can fix this? Or is there any other way to fix the problem, LMK. Appreciated!

It might be possible that an update changes things in such a way that your songs start playing normally, but we can't guarantee anything on that note.
This aside though - if you can, it's worth checking if your fellow dorm folks are experiencing the same issue. If they are, this is most likely Wi-Fi related.
If they are not though, we'd advise checking if you're running any kinds of VPN services as well 🙂
