Can't play songs

I'm using Windows 10. I have created a playlist which I can see whether I'm using the webplayer or the app. I put some somgs into it but I can only see them when I use the webplayer. The playlist is empty in the app. But nothing happens when when I click play. The album shows as recently played even though it didn't play. Am I missing something?
