My Question or Issue
Songs in my library or songs that I search for will play for a few seconds and then abruptly stop with the message "Spotify can't play this song right now. If you have this song in your device you can import it".
I am using the desktop app. I have tried restarting the application but the problem remains.

Seeing that you already tried restarting the desktop app, you could try uninstalling then reinstalling the app. If the issue persists, then you could try out this method (in link provided) that has solved many desktop app-related issues that Spotify users have been encountering:
