My Question or Issue

Hi, since 1 month (already god damn) i can't use Desktop version for playing my music, i need to use the browser app or my phone to listen to music, otherwise it's doesn't work.

I Already read all the topic on this subject (unistall / reinstall or proxy stuff, cache stuff) so i'm quit bored about this...

Any idea ?

Hey @Algost,

Thanks for the additional troubleshooting you've done.

Could you let us know if the issue comes up with both the Microsoft Store version of the app as well as the one from our website? Be sure to perform a clean reinstall when switching between versions.

If that doesn't fix things, it's a good idea to update the sound card driers to your system. If the issue persists, we'd appreciate it if you share the model of your sound card.

Keep us posted! We'll be happy to lend a hand if you need more help.

Hi, i got the same problem, i was contacting with Spotify Support but every single solution they gave me wasnt working. But I found workaround, you have to open spotify as Administrator. It works for me, let me know if it works for you.

Hi,

I check the host file, i don't have any entries in it so i don't change it.

I delete all the local file that i found in "Appdata/Spotify/localStorage", doesn't change my issues.

i also logout, reboot my pc, login and doesn't change...
