Can't remove an artist from my library

My Question or Issue

Hello! I have an artist in my library that i want to delete. I unfollowed him but it's stay in my artist list. I don't have any song of him in my playlists nor my song library. I tried followed/unfollowed, disconnected everywhere, on my phone and on windows. Nothing worked.

Hey @QcMaibcool 

 

I'd suggest logging in to your Spotify account and navigating to the Apps section.
Look for any apps that could have presaved that artist and revoke access to these apps.

 

You can also try to unfollow on the web player. Maybe there it will work. 🙂

Thanks for your help. 

It did not work, it seems stuck in the spotify server. I did followed/unfollowed on the web player. I never followed him and he's on my list artist since 2 months. I tought that he would be gone by waiting some update or else but no. I deleted all the apps associated with my account.

I asked around on this and it seems that there's something stuck indeed in your account.

The best way to get rid of this is to make a new user account, alternatively you can leave that artist as is.
