I am confusal, just like Pooh Bear. I have some music files that, I thought when I subscribed to Spotify, I could access on my phone and on my laptop "seamlessly" when I access my playlist on Spotify. This is for music I purchased, but which does not exist on Spotify (some Beach Boys, Beatles, and other artists without Agreements with Spotify). So, please kindly instruct me, the technology-doofus-of-doofuses, exactly how to integrate these files into playlists on Spotify (phone & laptop) even though I understand that I cannot upload these files to Spotify. Many thanks to the Kewl Sensei who answers this desperate plea for help!
Hi. If you use the spotify desktop client application, you can create playlists from a mix of the files on your PC (local files) and spotify content. To listen to your local files on a mobile device, all you have to do is synch the playlist following these instructions. It's all pretty bewildering at first so do ask if you need more help, posting details of your desktop and mobile operating systems.
spotmeup.com got my album up once on public display. (Look up "Artic Snow City") But that was in February, it took them ages too, but it eventually was up there. Recently I've tried to use Spot Me Up again, they have no uploaded it at all. So, it's not the most reliable of sources.
