Cant get an artist to play on Win 10 desktop app but will play mobile and through Alexa

I've run into this on a few songs using Spotify on Windows 10 that just wont play, but now I was looking to listen to Caravan Palace new single and it wouldn't play. Actually, not a single one of there songs will play. These songs do play on my mobile app and will play if I ask Alexa. I have tried a  fresh install of Spotify and it does nothing. The image I have attached is all it does.

Please enter you settings page on your desktop app and scroll down to "Advanced Settings".

Find the "Compitability" tab and check of "Hardware Acceleration".

Restart the app and check if it had done the trick 😃

unfortunately, having both hardware acceleration on and off doesn't change anything
