Cast from windows to chromecast

Hey guys. I have a problem that only occurs on my pc (not my phone) and only with spotify.

Apparently i cant cast spotify from my pc to my chromecast, but i can do this from my phone. Yes my pc is on same network as my chromecast, i cast netflix and other stuff from my pc every single day so that is not the problem. When i click on available devices in spotify it simply doesnt show any. Anybody knows how to fix this? If i open spotify through the browser it works, since i can then cast the whole browser to my chromecast
