My Question or Issue

Hi Folks,

Does anyone know if there is an easy way to create a Playlist of all of my Liked Songs in one shot?

I know I can drag them one at a time, or I can right click on each song and choose Add to Playlist.  But that seems painfully slow.

Thanks!

Not sure if you were able to find an easier way to do this. None of the answers here worked for me. My solution was to select sections at a time. Start at the top, select the first song, scroll a bit, and then shift click. Keep repeating. I also would occasionally copy to the playlist once I got a good chunk and then start with a new section just to make sure I didn't mess up. I only had 5,000 songs so it might be more work for others but it worked.

While using the desktop version of spotify, you can use click on "make a new playlist", go to "liked songs", use Ctrl+A to select all songs, then use Ctrl+C to copy them, and paste the songs into the playlist with with Ctrl+V . Alternatively, after using the "select all", you can drag the songs into the playlist name to add them).

I don't think there is a quick way of selecting and moving multiple songs on mobile.

Edit: Since this has been accepted as a solution, I just wanted to clarify that "Crl+A" (or equivalent on non-windows OS) doesn't always select all the songs, so when you're at the "liked songs" list, you might have to click on the top song of the playlist, hold shift and the down arrow until you hit the bottom of the list in order to select all the songs.

This doesnt work if you have more than 1k+ songs. It only selects a couple hundred, tried restarted spotify.  It works for lists under 1k  but as soon as it goes to 2k+ , it only selects a couple hundred songs, I have to scroll down and keep CTRL+A

Try this:
Hold shift and then left click on the first song of the playlist then do the same with the last song of the playlist, after that you can right click and choose add to playlist for all of them.

I did try that, and unfortunately it just divides my song list in a weird and separated way all along my 1500+ liked songs list. I'll just divide my list through sections and copy paste it in a way I can control through the shift left click method.

Hi! I just achieved this by CTRL+ Down arrow. I had 10k songs, and i weighed down the keyboard buttons with a genius combination of blutack and various other stationery items, came back after 5 mins and all 10k were selected (IE doing what Ctrl+A is supposed to do!)

Right-click or drag into new playlist ❤️

This was the best solution, thank you!

"Select all" doesn't select all. My liked songs are 900+ and it's esp. annoying when I want to use tools like http://static.echonest.com/SortYourMusic/

I wish Spotify would make a button for copying Liked songs

That seemed like a good solution, and tried it, but for me the list is glitching out and returning to the top every 20 seconds.

Unfortunately I was selected to 'test' the new Desktop App which mirrors the webui. The ctrl-a, ctrl-c, ctrl-v method no longer works as it's not possible to select more than one song at a time. Is there an alternative solution? I'm just trying to get a list of those songs so I can leave this deteriorating service.

Hello!

This doesn't work, at least with many Liked songs. I have about 8000 Like songs. When I press Control-A, only 100 songs are marked at first. With good luck at some point 800 - 1000. But never all 8000.

Who helps me. Other ways like marking the first song and last song also don't work.

Who helps?

Thank you

Dieter

Command all on Mac desktop does absolutely nothing for me? I have 657 liked songs. It just highlights in pink all the text on the page like it would on any other page. I tried Control all too.

Just wanted to say thanks! Did this on my desktop version and it worked. Luckily only have 200+ songs at the moment, so it was pretty quick.

This is the only solution that worked for me too! Had over 2,000 songs, took a few mins of sitting there but now I have a playlist!
Come ON Spotify!

I found a solution accidently but i worked quickly. Touch crtl-a on the top of your playlist but just on the side. not on the song or something. it will select 50 songs or something. if u go to the bottom of those 50 songs you can click it gone what you have selected. no worries-hakuna matata. then click crtl-a again and it will select 50 more songs but still keep the ones youve selected. some songs wasnt selected when i scrolled up but just go to that point of the liked songs or playlist and unclick and click and you will get those as well. just be careful you get every song before saving them over. hit crtl-c when done so you copy them and then paste them in your desired place with crtl-v. This worked for me. Hope it wasnt to hard to explain. Since it just was accidently i found out of this solution. took me 5min maybe. and i think thats the fastest way.
