Desktop App (Windows) will not display home or any searched music/artist

Desktop App (Windows) will not display home or any searched music/artist

When I open the App, the Home page fails to open.
If I search for a song/album/artist - again an error is displayed ("Something went wrong") or remains blank. Nothing in Error logs.


However I can view my Liked songs and any playlists I created (and listen to them)

This is on a work laptop/network - seems strange that only those limited functions are impacted by network restrictions. I have tried reinstalling the app.

Hi there @cookm1975!

Have you tried using Spotify Web Player to check if you experience the same issue?

Also, can you try on a different WiFi connection, or a hotspot to see if it makes any difference? It's worth checking if you are using any VPN service that might be causing this issue.

I have tried the desktop app on work, home and mobile internet, but with same issue.

 

The web player works without issue. Guess I'll have to stick with that for now.

Can you try using Spotify on a different account using the same devices where you experience the issue to double-check if this is not account-related?
