Desktop App takes forever to load online content

My Question or Issue

Whenever I reboot my PC or restart Spotify Desktop App, I can only play downloaded songs and playlists for a while. It takes upwards of 5min before I can see any of the Artists, Playlists or my Home Screen even.

I think the usual "solutions" involve either 1) disable hardware acceleration under Edit->Preferences->Scroll down-> "Advanced settings" or 2) reinstalling Spotify (though that is more of a temporary fix). Did you try either of those?
