I accidentally pressed the 'X' on the little album cover on the playback bar. Now it's gone for all songs and I have no idea how to get it back. How do I fix this?

If you resize the left pane (the part of the gui with all of your playlists and such) the album art should come back. That's what worked for me.
There will be a scroll option when you come to the song name's bar's upper right corner line enlarge it picture will pop up
