[Desktop] Shuffle in playlists can't be deactivated

How is it, that even though I have Spotify premium, I can't listen to a specific song through clicking on it in the desktop app (Windows 10)? When I double click on a song, another one starts. When I just hit play to start the playlist from top to bottom, even though I haven't activated shuffle via the button below, the playlist plays in shuffle mode and not just from start to end.

Is there a way to fix this?

Hey!

It seems your desktop app is the culprit here if you already have premium and it works well on other devices. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot:

  • Make sure your Windows is up to date and all drivers are up to date
  • Uninstall, and reinstall the Spotify Desktop app
  • If you notice the desktop app being too slow and having audio playback issues, you can try turning on hardware acceleration

Hope this helps!
