Desktop Spotify can't play liked song

I've had this everlasting issue, Where my liked songs would sync from my iPhone to the desktop if I had liked a song on my phone (as in the library of liked songs would be up-to-date from whatever I liked on my phone.) but when I try to press play on the songs on the desktop version, it would immediately say "Spotify can't play this right now, If you have the computer file you can import it,"

Could you test this on the web player? See if the issue persists. If it works there, try a clean-install of the Spotify desktop app using this link. 

Also, remember to disable any active VPN/DNS/Ad Blocker service or add Spotify to the exclusions.
