My Question or Issue

I recently was having issues with desktop Spotify for PC where no song would play for more than 3 seconds before saying it could not play the current song. Following the advice on here, I did a clean install to fix the problem. Since doing the reinstall , my library is empty, as are my playlists. Nothing happens when trying to search and play a song not on my playlist either.

Some fixes I have tried, turned off hardware acceleration, another reinstall on a different hard drive, disconnected all devices and re-signed in, deleted the hosts file from c:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts.

Open to any suggestions to get my music playing again! Thanks

Hey there @georgie050,

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community!

Sorry for the delayed response, we just came across this thread. Could you let us know if you’re still having troubles with this?

If you are, we'd recommend making sure that you have the app's latest version form the Microsoft store.

We can also suggest that you try updating your computer's drives to make sure you have the latest version of that as well.

Keep us in the loop here.
