[Desktop] [Windows 10] Spotify crashes after 2 songs

[Desktop] [Windows 10] Spotify crashes after 2 songs

Hello

I am using Spotify desktop on windows 10 and when I start it, it crashes after few songs, mostly after 2 songs, but it's not always the same. It just plays few songs and at the end of song (mostly its second one), it crashes.

I have tried reinstalling, it didn't worked. I have tried clean installation, I have tried deleting files in AppData folder...

I was listening to spotify all afternoon and it came out of nowhere so i am guessing it's something new.

Could you please help me?

Go to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local and delete the Folder "Spotify". Fixed it for me.

Hi.

Can you check if a clean installation in safe mode solves your problem? It involves deleting most or all Spotify related files.
The solution here is how to:
https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Linux-Windows-Web-Player/PC-App-won-t-launch-can-t-uninstal...

...

nvm

none of those things helped. Now it crashes, somtimes after 1 sometimes after 2 or even more songs...

Can you check if running Spotify in different compatibility modes has any effect?

Deleting AppData\Local\Spotify didn't ultimately fix it. When the issue was back the next day I uninstalled Spotify, rebootet the PC then reinstalled Spotify. No issues since thursday last week.

Also I used this installer:
