Discord "currently listening" not working

My Question or Issue

I have Spotify properly linked to my Discord account. But whenever I listen music, it won't show what I am listening to in my status. I am sure I have the box checked in "connections" tab. Sometimes it randomly solves itself, but I have no idea how, and it's too much trouble for me.
How can I make it work again?

We suggest that you reinstall both Discord and Spotify, and then try some of the suggestions and solutions provided on this thread.

Thank you for the reply! I had tried the things you've mentioned just now. This sadly didn't resolve the problem.
However, I did managed to solve it in another way!

I had an ad blocker installed that worked PC-wide. Seemingly also blocking the ads from Spotify.
I've tried removing said ad blocker and now everything works just fine again!
