Downloaded songs are glitchy and wont play properly offline

Hey guys, 

So I’m a premium user on desktop and my school has a system that blocks Spotify from accessing the internet. So, I downloaded my songs and I was all happy with myself but when I went to listen to my music on my computer while doing some school work the sound quality was miserable (even though I have streaming quality set to high) and it had gaps/silences in playback every 6-7 seconds. It was absolutely terrible! I’ve tried uninstalling and redownloading the app, clearing my caches and redownloading songs, and everything that I can think of. Please let me know how to fix this 😞

Could you confirm for us you've downloaded the app from the Microsoft store? 

We'll also need to know if you've performed a clean reinstall with the steps here instead of a regular one. 

Does this happen only when you're at school, or do you also get the issue when you go offline at home?

In case the issue persists, could you ask a friend or a family member to log in on your computer and test this out to see if they get the same issue?
