Drag and drop songs into playlist Windows app no longer works.

Drag and drop songs into playlist Windows app no longer works.

You used to be able to drag and drop a song into a playlist by dragging it into the list of songs in that playlist to add it to the playlist, that no longer works.

I keep thinking I've added a song to a playlist only to find it didn't actually get added.

(You can currently still drag and drop the track onto the playlist's name on the left list of playlists)

Hey there @jt663,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply, we've just come across this thread.

We can confirm that it's still possible to drag and drop songs to add them to a playlist. Apart from dragging them to the playlist names in the left menu, for example, if a song is playing and you have a playlist open, you can drag it from the playing bar to the list of songs in the playlist you have open and the song will be added to it.

If you're referring to a different scenario, could you let us know which one exactly? A video or screen recording where we can see what you're trying to do will also come in handy to have a better understanding of the situation.

Keep us posted.
