Embeds stoped dissplaying themself

They link looks like this now:

https://open.spotify.com/intl-de/track/6EJDyT2T7pEeLLhNRR416r?si=6dbfd334681546c4

Before this, the link for a song was without the part that says "intel-de" and since the "intel-de" part is in the copied links I can't see an embed no more when I post the songs to another website that is not Spotify. Whats wrong here?

Good to know that the workaround also works for you now. I think "intl" stands for "international", not "intel" the company, and Spotify added this to the new UI for some unknown reason. Other languages than English will probably also face the problem when trying to embed the link or share it.

Hi there @yaquyphdwrto0erjguid, @hans-jürgen

Thanks you both for the info. We can confirm that this feature is still being tested. At Spotify, we're often testing new features and improvements, that's why you may have something in the app that other users don't or vice versa, or have a feature to try temporarily. Some hiccups are also not uncommon with brand new features. In this case, we suggest to keep the app always updated so you don't miss out on any new features and improvements.

We'll happily pass your feedback onto the appropriate team. Be advised however that we cannot say for certain at the moment what our team will decide and what the future may hold for this functionality. If you have any more feedback or suggestions, don't hesitate to let us know.

Cheers!

Hey again @yaquyphdwrto0erjguid,

Thank you for keeping in contact and for the info shared.

Usually, the type of extensions that are added to a link (such as the 'Intel-de' you've mentioned) are JavaScript language. This extension usually changes to adapt to the language used in the region you're located in. Taking this into account, could you check if the issue persists using an incognito/private window?

Also, if you're currently using a VPN (or a PC from work) it might add some restrictions to your network connection or modify your location affecting the proper behavior of the app. Since you didn't confirm this info in your previous answer; if you're using a VPN connection, would you mind turning it off to see if it makes any difference? In case you're using a PC from work, could you check on a different device to see if the issue persists?

We appreciate your cooperation regarding this issue. We'll be on the lookout.

Nothing changed after I tried that

Also another mod said under another post that they might be trying something with a new feature and were giving it to some technitians from the IT to look into it I think. IDK

hm thats all I can say

Oh my god man, just delete "intl-de/" from the link

The solution is really simple. Just completely remove ‘intl-de/’ from your link. That’s it!

Your original link: https://open.spotify.com/intl-de/track/6EJDyT2T7pEeLLhNRR416r?si=6dbfd334681546c4
The working link: https://open.spotify.com/track/6EJDyT2T7pEeLLhNRR416r?si=6dbfd334681546c4

Cheers!

If you change the language to english, it won't add intl-de or intl-es in my case.
