Explicit songs blocked on desktop app

I can't seem to listen to any content marked as explicit on the Desktop version of spotify. Even if it is allowed on the same account on the mobile version, the moment I try to listen to something explicit on destop it just gives me the error message saying: "Spotify can't seem to play this right now. If you have the file on your computer you can import it"

Can anyone help me out?
