Facing Some Issues with i3 10th Generation Desktop and Spotify Product - Any Advice?

Facing Some Issues with i3 10th Generation Desktop and Spotify Product - Any Advice?

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m having some issues with my i3 10th Generation desktop while using Spotify Version 1.2.6.1234. These problems are affecting my ability to use the application effectively, and I’m looking for some advice on how to resolve them.

Here’s a brief overview of the issues I’m encountering:

  1. Performance: Spotify seems to be running slower than expected, impacting my user experience.
  2. Compatibility: I’ve noticed occasional crashes or glitches, especially when streaming music or navigating playlists.
  3. Functionality: Some features don’t seem to work as they should, which might be related to system settings or application compatibility.

I’ve attempted some troubleshooting steps, such as updating drivers and ensuring that the latest version of Spotify is installed, but the problems persist.

Has anyone experienced similar issues or have any suggestions on how to resolve these problems? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi there @judywatson,

Thanks for reaching out!

Can you try reinstalling the app using these steps? If you've downloaded it through the Microsoft Store before, try downloading it directly this time and vice versa. Another thing you can try is making sure Spotify is allowed via the Firewall and clearing the hosts file.  Can you also give us a bit more info about which features aren't working, so that we can have a closer look?

A screen recording of the app's performance would be very much appreciated as well. If the file is too large to attach, you can upload it to Google Drive (make sure to allow general access to the file) or as an unlisted YouTube video.

We'll be on the lookout for your response.
