Friend Activity - not showing friend

My Question or Issue

Hi guys, I joined yesterday,  version 1.1.4.197.g92d52c4f; and am having trouble with the Friend Activity.

I have friend who is also a premium user, same version as I; and we can't see each other; yet I can see everyone else I've followed!

We've both tried un following and re following each other, closing the app and restarting; but nothing!

as far as i know, you have to follow each other, and you cant be in a private session if you want to see your friends listening activity.

also you have to turn on the "Publish my activity on Spotify" option in the settings.
