Friends Feed shows previous song

The friend's activity feed appears to show you what your friends are currently listening to, however it actually shows their previous song. This diminishes the meaning of the feature if it shows me listening to a song I have skipped for the duration of the next song. Similar to that, the feed will make it look like I skipped a song that I did not if I skip the song after it. Simply sharing a truly live feed of what each user is listening to truly accomplishes what this feature is meant for.

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community. I think that that’s a good idea as well, and you can feel free to post it in the Ideas section, here. If enough users vote for it, Spotify may consider implementing it. (A similar idea has been proposed previously, but since it didn’t gain enough votes within a year to be considered for implementation, I think it’s recommended to re-post this idea).

Thanks for getting in touch about this. 

We can confirm that this is expected behavior of the app. 

In this case, we suggest that you submit a new idea in the link @AdamDam sent previously, if this is something you'd like to see in the future. This way other users can also support it. The higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for it to be implemented.

Thanks for the updates. As for reposting this in a separate place, I thought this was the place for new ideas and honestly don't care to jump through so many hoops and wait for so many votes to submit an idea to improve your app. If anyone else in this thread who agrees with the original post would like to continue with this as a new idea, I would certainly support it if I can ever find it.
