My Question or Issue

Following the most recent update, the media keys on my keyboard no longer work globally. They worked fine a week or so ago but all of a sudden they've just stopped. Yes, they do work when I'm clicked on the window but that defeats the objective of having media control keys because I use them to control Spotify while using other programs. 

I have not changed anything to my normal setup, so my only explanation is this Spotify update as stopped allowing media keys control, either that or a recent windows update has caused it but I don't see a reason why that would happen.

OH SURPRISE SUPRISE AS SOON AS I REPORT THE ISSUE TO HERE IT MAGICALLY STARTS WORKING FOR NO APPARENT REASON!
