Headset hot keys AND overlay

Windows 10 with a Wireless headset. I'm on version 1.0.82.447.g975ad224

This used to work fine, but since the latest update I've noticed I have a problem.

I hate the overlay so i have it turned off, recently I've noticed that it doesnt stay turned off, and i have to turn it on and off again everytime i have Spotify opened. Which leads the my next problem.

the buttons on my wireless headset only work when the overlay is enabled. this is new with the latest patch. buttons on my mouse are unaffected.

fix please!
