That's a bit of a strange issue, but let's try to solve this. 🙂

On mobile and tablets:

Write the username as it is and double-tap Spacebar.

on PC:

you can try typing spotify:user:usernamegoeshere
that should work, unless you're connected to Facebook. 🙂

What else works (for me at least) is compiling possible profile URL and then pasting it in search. If the profile is Facebook integrated, then the username might be a bunch of letters/numbers. If it's a pure Spotify profile, then the username (the name they log in with) appears as it is.

example: https:*//open.spotify.com/user/1185903410 (with FB)
example 2: https:*//open.spotify.com/user/aspotifyuser (without FB)
without asterisks then.
