How to delete from Playlist songs that were removed from Spotify?

I have a playlist that has two removed songs (i.e. the artists removed them from Spotify) so they don't show up in the playlist anymore.

However, when I create a link to the playlist to share on my blog in a Spotify widget, the removed songs are showing in the list (though greyed out and unplayable obviously). Since they aren't visible in Spotify (Win10), how do I remove them so they don't appear in the playlist?

Hey there @downtime68,

Thank you for your post here in the Community.

Can you confirm if it's your playlist or another persons playlist?

Also - can you see this option?

Keep us posted. We're always one reply away 🙂

Cheers!

It's my own playlist that I've made public and then shared via a widget.

When "Show Unplayable Tracks" (or "Show Unavailable Songs in Playlists" on PC) is off, I can't see them in the playlist on my devices but they still show up in the widget I've shared to my website. Presumably because this setting only affects my local account.

I had to fix the problem via my phone, since I don't know how to do it on PC: "Edit" the playlist and the non-existent songs are listed there, so they can be deleted.

However, it appears to be a bug that these songs are visible to other users in the first place when I've hidden unplayable songs.

Hey again @downtime68,

Thank you for your reply and confirmation.

Can you provide us a link to the playlist so that we can take a closer look?

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Cheers!
