How to sort artists without including the 'the' at the beginning?

Is there any way of going back to the previous sorting method of spotify where it did not include the starting 'the' of the artist name? I have noticed that my artist list is different as all the artists that have a name starting with 'the' are grouped together. Is there a way to go back to the previous version of spotify that does not have this annoying and backwards feature. It is another horrible downgrade of service quality that Spotify has introduced.
