My Question or Issue

I downloaded my playlist and it was just fine. But then I added some new songs to the playlist, Spotify automatically download those songs, but it seems that my downloaded songs can only be played with a network connection.

 

When I connected to a network, I can play the songs. But when I disconnected or go offline I cannot play the music as they stuck in 0:00 and the song artwork doesn't show up. This condition only happened to my newly added songs, I can play the other songs normally

 

My playlist indicator shows that I already downloaded all my songs in it. There is no grayed songs at all. Everything just fine

Thanks for reaching out to the Community about this. 

 

We'd suggest you first try a clean reinstall of the Spotify app instead of the regular one. There's a difference between the two in how the app data are being managed.

 

We recommend this step as it'll remove the old drivers first and then install the new ones. This tends to solve issues with the app's performance. Give your device a quick restart as well before you open the newly installed app. After performing this you'll need to re-download your offline contents.
