I Saw A Private Playlist

On Tuesday I saw my friend listening to a private playlist on Spotify. It showed the playlist, I clicked it and followed because it looked like just another playlist. Now he's convinced I did something underhanded to get access. How the **bleep** is this happening and is there anyway I can demonstrate I didn't do anything shady?

He probably made it unlisted like you know on youtube there is 3 options PUBLIC/UNLISTED/UNPUBLISHED. In spotify it's like MAKE IT PUBLIC/PRIVATE/MAKE IT SECRET. He maybe didn't click secret so you can see it because you added him on friends I believe.
