Sorry to hear that you can't use your Desktop app at all.
Can you let us know if you're using any type of VPN or private tunnel or if your using a school PC/ network?
Certain network or system admin restrictions can cause the Desktop app to malfunction like this.

Can you please let us know what troubleshooting steps you've tried so far so we can avoid repeating any suggestions? Also, please make sure your app's updated to 18.104.22.1684 or higher.
