I do not want to connect to facebook

I do not want to log in with facebook, but there is literally no way to close this tab. How do I get rid of this banner?

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

You can remove the sidebar heading over to Settings > Display > and toggling off See what your friends are playing option.
