My Question or Issue

The UI is annoyingly childish, ugly and ineffective.

Is there anyway you can mod/hack spotify to your liking?

Spotify Clones? Anything?

Please Spotify:

* Search field for playlists only (all)

* Option to remove podcasts.

* Option to remove audiobooks

* Option to remove certain genres/artists from search results/UI

* Option to choose your own theme colors.

* Option to remove/minimize blocks

* Option to change what shows up on homescreen.

* Option for search results (Switch to list mode, etc) 
* Option to remove "Recommended"

* Option to "Search for alternative" when a song/album is removed from spotify and greyed out in your playlist.

* Option to remove "Liked Songs". Also why not remove the box if no songs are liked!?

I would love to recommend some really cool functions and features!

* Fix the basic stuff first.

It's been 10+ years and spotify still feels like it is in an alpha release state.

We understand your frustration and that you have a lot of good ideas for feature changes inside the app regarding the the interface and the overall user experience. In this case, we'd recommend searching and exploring our Ideas board to see if someone else has already suggested some of the changes you'd like to see. You can add your vote and feedback to those ideas to show your support. If there aren't any ideas about a particular change you'd like to suggest, you can add your own, so others can then vote for it or add to the conversation to show their support.
