My Question or Issue
I have two displays, the primary one set to 150% scaling, & the secondary one set to 100% scaling. On my primary monitor, the minimise, maximise, & close buttons work correctly as expected.
However, on my secondary monitor, the hitboxes are too wide & are shifted to the left, causing the minimise button to close Spotify, & clicking on the empty space to the left of the buttons triggering the other buttons. This issue popped up since the recent redesign, & only affects clicking; hovering works fine.
Fig. 1, Mouse hovering over minimise button.
Fig. 2, Mouse clicking & holding on minimise button, but the close button being activated instead.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey @sxxov,
Sorry to see this has been happening to you!
Would you mind leaving only one monitor on for troubleshooting purposes?
Set the scaling to 100% and then to 150% and let us know if there is a change in the abovementioned behaviour 🙂
We'll be on the lookout for your response, thanks!
Just tested it, & the issue doesn't happen with only one display, with either 100% or 150% scaling. Satisfies the theory that this is probably just some code with an incorrect assumption of same display scalings across all displays, based on the primary monitor (happens very commonly with apps on my setup).
Also to note that Spotify has server-side flipped my app design to the old one (the one without the black margin border & friends list next to the lyrics button), & this issue still persists. The version information on the app itself remains the same.
Thank you for the re-review & the help in general!

Thanks for your reply.
We've forwarded this info to the relevant team for further review, however please note that we can't confirm when it will be reviewed. In the meantime, make sure to keep your app up-to-date.
